had to sit outside because tables inside were not very available at all. small establishment but oh well. still kinda burned outside from sun
got the ginger scallion chicken with noodles. very VERY flavorful and tender, i enjoyed its taste. noodles are nice but i will try the chicken with rice next time it’s probably more suited for that haha
i also had chili pan mee in the past, it’s definitely on the higher end of (and possibly still beyond) my spice tolerance. if you need to clear out your intestines in a rush i do recommend
also this is the same location block that has gone through like 5 different iterations so i do suggest trying it before the next comes in

Authentic food, great value. Highly recommend their Hainanese Chicken Rice. Definitely one of the best in Perth. The rice was properly cooked, fragrant and tasty. The chicken was so tender, and the sauce, garlic chilli and the soup were all so good. The beef briskets noodles was also unbelievably great value. Service was quick and there’s a self service station where unlimited warm soup, water & condiments are provided. Must try!

Nup it isn’t chatterbox but gorgeous ginger scallion chicken noodles by Uncle 6 nanyang hawker cuisine
I took the condiments i need. (nice with the pork lard addition. )
Chicken was soft and tender and nicely coated with ginger scallion sauce. Each piece was a delight. The noodles were tossed in their seasoning, i tend to add the ginger scallion to the noodles to complement the dish. There were a number of coriander available i added it to the broth with some pork lard.
Enjoy!

The tomato egg sauce horfun has a good wokhei and the sauce is thick and delicious with two big prawns and two big pieces of squid. However it's not tomato-ey enough to my liking.
The handmade noodles are good and have a good bite, and although different from a wonton mee, it's very similar seasoning.
We also had the hainanese chicken rice which has a good seasoning sauce over it and the rice was generous too and flavourful. However the rice is on the mushy side for my liking and the chicken pieces though some are tender some are on the side of overcooked. The amount of cucumber slices is also more decorative and they are small pieces.
The duck egg fried kway tiao is on the salty side and the duck egg didn't quite shine through.
The Sarawak laksa is a weekend special and it's flavourful but quite oily. I'd prefer it slightly creamier with a tat more coconut milk.

Located in Willetton, Uncle 6 is a gem for lovers of authentic Malaysian Asian flavours. The pork noodle soup really stands out, soup is rich and pork is tender. Will try the chicken rice next time.
