Authentic food, great value. Highly recommend their Hainanese Chicken Rice. Definitely one of the best in Perth. The rice was properly cooked, fragrant and tasty. The chicken was so tender, and the sauce, garlic chilli and the soup were all so good. The beef briskets noodles was also unbelievably great value. Service was quick and there’s a self service station where unlimited warm soup, water & condiments are provided. Must try!

Nup it isn’t chatterbox but gorgeous ginger scallion chicken noodles by Uncle 6 nanyang hawker cuisine
I took the condiments i need. (nice with the pork lard addition. )
Chicken was soft and tender and nicely coated with ginger scallion sauce. Each piece was a delight. The noodles were tossed in their seasoning, i tend to add the ginger scallion to the noodles to complement the dish. There were a number of coriander available i added it to the broth with some pork lard.
Enjoy!

Delicious Malaysian restaurant located outside Southlands.
We got the pork noodle soup, prawn noodle soup, curry laksa and curry Chee Cheong fun. Very delicious with generous toppings. Very flavourful and tasty. Had ice kacang to finish off the meal
Pricing is quite affordable. Plenty of parking around.
Can be quite busy during dinner times.

To be honest, we were drawn to the free soup and chilli self-serve station. We we here for the first time through word of mouth.
Food came pretty quickly after ordering. I gave 5 stars for the service. Despite being busy, I changed my order after paying and sat down, and the staff quickly checked and accommodated my request. I was very grateful. We ordered these dishes and highly recommend them:
*Trio of fish wings were perfectly fried and juicy.
*Beef brisket noodles, almost a melt in the mouth beef texture
*prawn noodles, soup is slightly on the sweeter side, and had 3 prawns and tender roast pork chunks. Good sambal.
*Hainan chicken rice, 🍚 was a huge serving
*wagyu beef with ginger&spring onions and rice. My son said it was alright.
Ok only
*Mamak Mee Goreng was spicy as illustrated in the menu but not the taste we were expecting. The curry powder spoilt it.
* Chee Cheong Fun with sweet sauce, standard hoisin base with garlic chili. Ok
I will definitely return to this restaurant again and try out their other dishes.

We tried the Duck Egg Char Kway Teow and Roast Pork Curry Laksa. The roast pork was outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The laksa soup was rich and aromatic, bursting with flavor; side Balacan has elevated the dish to another level. However, the Duck Egg Char Kway Teow missed the mark for us. The dish felt overly complicated, with too many different meats (prawn, BBQ pork, chicken, fish ball, and Chinese sausage) competing on the plate, which detracted from the balance and simplicity that makes this dish special. Unfortunately, we’d rate it just 2 stars.
That said, the “free-flow” pork lard was a delightful bonus and added depth to the overall meal.
The seating system definitely needs some work. We, like other guests, weren’t sure if we should leave our name or just keep queuing. A simple fix like clear signs or someone managing the waitlist would make things way easier and less confusing. Little changes like that could really improve the experience!
